Hi there,
I'm back with another installment of Forgotten Friday, where I showcase a set from the Annual catalogue which might have become a bit neglected in amongst all the lovely new products that everyone is so excited about. Today I am featuring the Balloon Celebration photopolymer stamp set along with the balloon bouquet punch.
I have to admit, this card is not one of my designs. I made it on a stand at a Craft Fair, run by a group of Stampin Up demonstrators, as a "Make and Take", several months before I took the plunge and signed up as a demo myself. I think this card is a great example of what can be achieved really quickly and easily with only a few simple supplies. The background is a watercolour wash, made by picking up ink from the lid of a stamp pad with an aquapainter.
This stamp set consists of 28 images - several balloons and strings, a bow, some great words/sentiments and some really useful little "filler" stamps (stars etc). This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set allowing you to combine individual stamps to build the final image you want in the colors you want. The photopolymer stamps are totally transparent for perfect image placement and to create a perfectly stamped image every time.
The punch punches out two sizes of balloons. As with other Stampin Up punches, this is a high quality, affordable, and easy to use punch, which co-ordinates not only with the Balloon Celebration stamp set, but also with the newer Balloon Adventures set from the Spring Summer catalogue.
As always, if you are inspired by today's post and would like to purchase any of the products used, please just click on the links below or on the "Shop Now" button at the top of the page. Don't forget to use this month's shopping code as you order so that I can send you a free gift in the post next month. And Sale-a-bration is still in full swing so if your order is £45 or more you can choose a free gift from that leaflet with your order.
Back soon,
Jill
