Easy cards with washi tape backgrounds

Hi everyone,

Popping in today to show you these simple little cards I made at the weekend in a matter of minutes!

Bold butterfly thinlits from Stampin Up

I'm sure that by now you know that Stampin' Up! have released the list of products which will be retiring at the end of May - that means that from 31st May they will no longer be available to buy. But anything that sells out before then, will not be restocked - so it is only while stocks last. The washi tape sets I have used on these cards are just some of the items we will be losing. I have quite a lot of washi tape so thought I'd better use some of it before it disappears from the catalogue. Using washi tape to make these lovely backgrounds could not be easier. I've made a little video tutorial showing you how I made these cards - do go over and have a look!

As usual, I've taken the same design and tried it in three different colourways. Firstly "Pop of Pink":

Unfortunately the washi tape I've used on the card above has already sold out and is no longer available.

However, the Tasty Treats Designer Washi Tape used on the card below is still available (at the time of writing) and is being offered at a discount - only £5.80 for 5 reels of pretty coordinating tape. Click HERE to see it in my shop.

And finally, as seen on the video, I have used the very elegant Floral boutique washi tape.

As always, links to any of the products that are still available are given below - just click to see them in my shop.

I am always very honoured and grateful when customers choose me as their demonstrator and make purchases from my shop, and I try and pay you back by offering first class customer service and by sharing out the Stampin' rewards which accumulate over the month. So if you decide to order and use this month's shopping code, next month you will receive an extra thank you gift in the mail. The code until 30th April is:

 9YHNTNPW

Hope you enjoyed today's projects. Will be back soon with some more "washi tape wonder"!!!

Back soon, Jill

  2. Hi Jill, these are lovely and a super idea for using Washi Tape.
May have to 'CASE' you if that is ok.
I don't use my tape much at all except for attaching dies when cutting them out.
