Hey there everyone,
Such a busy weekend - my eldest daughter is moving back home for a while so been helping her move out of her flat. Plans for me to turn her room into my craft room are back on hold for a while!!
Anyway, on to my project for today. Last week I showed you some cards I made to show off my (very large) collection of washi tape. I love how easy it is to make such lovely backgrounds so easily.
For today's cards, the backgrounds are made in the same way - you can see how I did it in this video tutorial:
But on today's cards, I have replaced the butterflies with a greeting punched out using a lovely new punch which will be in the new catalogue and available to order from June 1st. I've also used a nifty little trick to make it look as though the label is mounted on a slightly bigger mat.
See how I did that in today's video tutorial:
I was so sad to see so many of the punches were being discontinued but so happy that this new punch has been introduced - it is going to be so useful! Expect to see it on a lot more of my projects!
Today is the last day to take advantage of this month's shoppping code. Use it when you order online and I'll be able to send you a little free thank you gift next month! The code is:

Back soon, Jill
These look lovely Jill.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards Jill. I like your use of Washi Tape and looking forward to getting the punch. I am disappointed that so many are retired.
