Hi there,
Once again it is time for the Pootles Team Birthday blog hop and today I am showcasing a set of cards I have made to send to the many friends I have who have birthdays in June. Not sure why that happens but for some reason I have 8 (yes, 8) birthdays to remember in June.
In my usual way, once I had made the first card (the pink one) I just had to experiment with other colours. And I'm so pleased I did as the third one (with Lemon Lime Twist) is definitely my favourite.
The card above uses Berry Burst, Sweet Sugarplum and Powder Pink, with Pear Pizzazz and Lemon Lime Twist foliage.
This one uses Tranquil Tide, Tempting Turquoise and Pool Party.
And lastly, this one uses Lemon Lime Twist, Tempting Turquoise and Pool Party.
This card is unbelievably simple to make but I absolutely love it. I have ideas for lots more colour combinations to try out and will be back very soon with a video tutorial so that you can see how you could make these cards yourselves. Make sure you sign up to receive notifications of each new blog post by email so that you don't miss the tutorial!
Enjoy hopping around the other blogs - loads of talent in the Pootles Team!
Back soon,
Jill xx

ReplyDeleteEach card is prettier than the next. I don't have the stamp set, but imagine I could do it with any number of floral sets. Very cute idea.
