Hi everyone and welcome to Day 2 of a whole week of projects featuring the Delightful Daisy suite.
Today's project is a little box, made using the dies from Window Box Thinlits.
How cute is that hexagonal box - and its so easy to make using the dies. Just cut two of the largest dies, fold and burnish the tabs where the scorelines are and glue!
This photo of the dies is a little deceptive as all the little decorative panels are separate dies so it is easy to cut just a plain box! I have to admit, I haven't used this die set nearly enough and have added it to my list of things to use more!
My box was cut from Night of Navy card and each side decorated with a panel of paper from the Delightful Daisy Designer Series patterned paper pack. On the lid is a daisy, stamped in Daffodil Yellow onto Whisper White card.
The box is big enough to hold a whole range of little gifts. Mine held a candle, but chocolates or sweets would be a good choice too!
And here is my box with the co-ordinating cards I showed you yesterday!
Don't forget that the new Autumn/Winter catalogue goes live on Friday 1st September. If you don't have a copy and would like one just let me know and I'll pop a free copy in the post to you (just click "Contact" at the top of the page for my email and phone number!)
That's it for today - back tomorrow with more delightful daisies!
