Hi there everyone,
I'm delighted to be back and taking part in the InspireINK blog hop for this month. Hopefully you have hopped here from the very talented Helzie's blog. The theme for this month's hop was chosen by the the lovely Hannah McCurley and is "Weddings"
And here is my project:
I decided to combine two of my loves for this project - Stampin' Up! products with a little bit of quilling. Some of you might know that as well as being a Stampin' Up! demo, I also run a little shop on Etsy selling my quilled cards (just search for Paper Daisy Cards). So today I used some quilled spiral roses on my card. Tomorrow I'll be posting a video tutorial showing how I made my card, including the spiral roses - so make sure to pop back then (or sign up on the right to receive email notifications every time I post so you never miss anything!)
I'm not sure if it shows up well on the photos, but my card is actually silver and white. I have used our silver foil card to cut out the scallop oval and the leaves. The greeting is stamped and heat embossed in silver.
As often happens, the card above was my second attempt. When I made the first one I used a smaller oval but decided it was too small. Here is the first card.
Now I'm not so sure. Here they are together. Which one do you prefer?
And now you can continue hopping to the very talented Hannah's blog.
Back tomorrow,
Jill xx

ReplyDeleteWedding card with Beautiful Bouquet! Looks so beautiful. I am a silent reader here and your posts are always very inspirational. Inspired by your blog I have decided to create the stationary on my own for my big day. we would be having the peach and white themed ceremony at one of the wedding venues in LA. Do you have any card inspirations for our theme?
