Hi there,
Welcome to another new week and a slightly different blog post from me. One of the greatest things about being a Stampin' Up! demo is belonging to a great community of other demos and making lots of new friends. One of the very good friendships I have made on my Stampin' Up! journey is with Gez Carpenter, who may also know from her blog and You Tube channel as "Nigezza" or "Nigezza Creates".
I've just spent a weekend on a "Team Retreat" weekend with Gez (and over 40 other members of our team!) and we have cooked up this plan to showcase a few of each others projects on our blogs every fortnight. This will give you a chance to see projects made by someone other than me. Gez and I have quite different crafting styles and while I tend mostly towards card making, Gez makes lots of boxes and bags AND is the queen of the mini album. I'm sure you will be as impressed and inspired by her projects as I am!
So to kick us off today I am showcasing a few of the projects that Gez has made so far using the products from the new Autumn Winter catalogue. I'm starting off with this beautiful gift box made with the "Flourish Filigree" stamp set. Just click on the image to learn more about this project on Gez's blog.
Next is this lovely Christmas card in traditional Christmas colours of red and green (or in Stampin' Up! lingo, Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow!) Here Gez has used the Peaceful Noel set and coordinating punch, making a very effective wreath style card. Again, just click on the image to learn more.
And finally for today, Gez has again used the Peaceful Noel set to create these gorgeous little matchbook style gift boxes, which she used as her swap for this last weekend. I was lucky enough to receive one of these!
So I hope these projects from Gez have given you some Christmas crafting inspiration!
I'll be back tomorrow with a project of my own! See you then,
All the products I have used to make this project are all available from my online shop. Simply click "Shop Now" button on the top of this page or click any of the images below to go direct to that item in my online Stampin’ Up! shop. If you order from my online shop please use my monthly shopping code (below) to receive a free thank you gift from me as I really appreciate your business. (If your order is £150 or more then please do not use my code as you will earn Stampin' Rewards in your own right and can choose your own freebies!)
If you would prefer a more personal service, have any questions or need help with your order, please either send me an email or give me a ring. I'll be more than happy to help. You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube - links on the left of this page.
Congratulations to you and Gez for this idea of showcasing each others work on your Blogs. I will look forward to every other Monday to see your creations. Hugs xxx
