Here is my project for today:
Sorry I'm so late posting. Have been out with my 23 year old son having brunch and doing a bit of shopping - mostly clothes for him on my credit card! But lovely to spend some time with him - he's usually far too busy being "cool" to spend time with mum. Here he is as Quiz Master in the bar/restaurant he works in.
But back to my project. I made these little boxes to hold guest-sized soaps as a small handmade gift for all the customers who shopped with me in October. I am so appreciative of every single order I receive and like to show that appreciation by sending a little gift and handmade card. Any customers who also use my Monthly Shopping Cose (see below for November's!) will also receive a product gift from me. I hope these little gifts were appreciated. I made them in two colourways:
I used the "Dashing Along" patterned papers. You won't find them in any of our catalogues as they were offered as a special a couple of months ago to customers whose orders were above £200. But because one of the packs of Christmas papers - Joyous Noel - has now sold out, Stampin' Up! are now offering Dashing Along for sale - click on the link below to see it in my shop. I also used two different ribbons and the sweet little tags are made with the "Tags and Tidings" bundle of stamp set and dies.
I've made a short video tutorial to show you how I made the boxes. You'll have to excuse the massive blunder I made in the middle, meaning that I had to start again - watch the video and you'll understand! Either click HERE or on the image below.
