Hi everyone,
I'm back today with the second instalment of how to make my Pop Up Card in a Box. If you missed yesterday's post, please pop back there as that's where I will give you all the measurements you will need to make one of these cards, along with a video tutorial showing how to actually construct the mechanism.
On today's video, I will be showing you how I decorated the blank card to produce the card above and this one:

To make the card there is one more measurement you'll need - the panels of patterned paper measure 6.5 cm (or 2 1/2") square.
These cards really are much more simple to make than they look so I do hope you'll have a go. One of my team members, Lorna, came over a few days ago for a crafty afternoon and we spent a very pleasant couple of hours together and Lorna made this card:
I much preferred her colour choice than mine!! And here is the lovely Lorna proudly showing her creation:
And before I go today, in the cause of full disclosure, I just wanted to show you this version of the card. This was my first attempt, my prototype, if you will. I don't know if you will agree but this card is going in my "OMG What were you thinking?" pile. So many different elements fighting for attention here - individually I like them all, but on one card, it is far too much for me. Too many different glimmer papers, too many colours, generally just too "busy".
Bye for now. Back soon,
All the products I have used to make this project are all available from my online shop. Simply click "Shop Now" button on the top of this page or click any of the images below to go direct to that item in my online Stampin’ Up! shop. If you order from my online shop please use my monthly shopping code (below) to receive a free thank you gift from me as I really appreciate your business. (If your order is £150 or more then please do not use my code as you will earn Stampin' Rewards in your own right and can choose your own freebies!)
If you would prefer a more personal service, have any questions or need help with your order, please either send me an email or give me a ring. I'll be more than happy to help. You can also find me on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube - links on the left of this page.
