Sneak peek No 1 - "Needlepoint Nook" from Spring Summer catalogue.

Hi everyone,

Oh my - seriously chasing my tail at the moment. So behind with my Christmas preparations - made worse by unexpectedly having to spend the weekend in Norfolk, caring for my parents. How are your preps going? I helped mum write on all her cards in late November and this weekend we have put up their Christmas tree and decorations. Still haven't written on my cards or put the tree up!

Anyway, on to today's project. I am going to be doing a series of "Sneak Peeks" over the next few days and this is the first one. This is a little look at a suite of products which will be released on 3rd January. The whole suite is called "Needlepoint Nook", with a stampset called "Needle and thread" and a set of dies called "Needlepoint Elements. There is also a pack of coordinating patterned papers called "Needlepoint Nook"

This card was one of five Make and Take projects from our recent On Stage event. As you might have guessed from the names, this suite is all about needlework - the tag line for this suite is "Get the look of handcrafted embroidery with little effort".

The stamps in the stamp set really do produce the look of real embroidery and how about that die, giving the stitched effect pattern. Here's a close up:

And that patterned paper is just lovely!

Don't forget that you can buy any of these products from 3rd January - if you'd like an early glimpse of the suite, you can see it in the Spring Summer catalogue. I'll be sending these out very soon. Would you like one? Just drop me a message, including your address.

That's all for today. Back soon,
