Here we are in December and just a few more festive projects for me to share before we move onto something with new products, which are waiting in the wings. Today I have turned to a set which I have owned for far too long without actually using them.
The Hometown Greetings Edgelits dies have been in the catalogue a while now - at least a year and probably two - but I have never until now taken them out of the packet! How dreadful! But now I've started, they will continue to be used a lot. I love them! Here is today's card:
It was so easy to make this card and it is so pretty. I love white on white, especially for Christmas cards. I started with my usual card blank measuring 21cm x 15cm, scored at 10.5cm (IMPERIAL -8 1/4 ins x 6 ins, score at 4 1/8 ins) in our thick Whisper White cardstock. Then I added a panel embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder, which I cut 1/2 cm (or 1/4 in) smaller than the card blank. I then cut the buildings in Whisper White and mounted them on the card using dimensionals. The message is actually heat embossed in silver, although I don't think you can see that in the photos! The sentiment is from the hostess set, "Hung with Care" in the Autumn Winter catalogue.
