Hi everyone,
Slightly different post from me today but I want to tell you all about what I was up to on Sunday. I attended one of our Team Training events. This was organised by my upline's, upline - Michelle Last whose team is known as the Pinkies. Such a great day and do you know? - If you joined my team you would be able to come along to the next one too!
The day was held in a large room in a hotel in Central Milton Keynes. This is the room with everyone busy either crafting or looking at displays. There were 55 demos there altogether, all having a wonderful time.
Here we all are - not sure if we managed to squeeze everyone into the photo!
One of the best things about the day is the amount of inspiration around the room - Product Spotlights, Card Samples, Make and Takes - so much to take in! Here are some of the samples on display:
And for me, one of the best things is getting together with some of my fellow demos. Here I am with others from the Pootlers team.
And of course with my good friend Gez aka Nigezza.
There are different activities going on throughout the day. Swaps of course - I'll be showing more of them another day. Crafting - everything needed to create two beautiful Make & Take projects was included. A huge raffle with loads of prizes. And classes (which are optional). One of the classes this year was to make a gorgeous laminated traveller's journal. And the other was led by Paula Gorry, who is the Stampin Up manager for the whole of the UK. Here she is in full flow, giving us tips on how to improve our Stampin Up businesses.
And of course, last but not least, there was cake!
This masterpiece was made by Keila Calver a very talented fellow demo. Look at that gorgeous cake topper using our "Happy Birthday" die. And yes, it tasted every bit as delicious as it looks.
So that's a quick glimpse into our Team Training Day - just one more perk of being part of the Stampin' Up family.
If this sounds like something you would like to be part of, please get in touch and we can have an informal chat about all the other benefits. Joining Stampin' Up! really was one of the best decisions I've ever made!
Bye for now,
