Clean and simple Butterfly Gala card

Hi everyone,

I'm so happy to be able to bring you this project today. I made it ages ago, as part of our Pootlers Team Card Swap (see my post HERE to see the cards I received) but have delayed making this post as the Butterfly Gala stamp set and the Butterfly Duet punch have been out of stock. But now they are back, so here is my project.

Very simple little card but very effective I think. I do love a minimalist card with lots of white space! I was inspired by a card I found on Pinterest by Lisa Curcio

As I've been building up my collection of Stampin' Blends, making this card was a great excuse to use as many of them as I could. I needed to make 5 cards to send off to the other people in my swap group,  so I tried to use a different colour combination on each one.

And here are all 5 cards together.

There are just a few measurements you'll need for the card and here they are.

METRIC

Card blank - 21cm x 15cm, score at 10.5cm

Stitched squares - 4 cm x 4 cm and 5.5 cm x 5.5 cm

Ribbon - 9 cm

IMPERIAL
Card blank - 8 1/4 ins x 6 ins, score at 4 1/8 ins

Stitched squares - 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" and 2 1/8" x 2 1/8" 

Ribbon - 3 1/2"
