Hello everyone and welcome to our monthly InspireInk blog Hop for March - and this month our theme is:
And for this blog hop I decided to push my comfort zone a little and instead of making a card I decided to go with a 3D project - this cute little box containing a small Easter egg.
I found a box of foil wrapped mini Easter eggs in Tesco - they are intended to be used for an Easter Egg Hunt but they were perfect for my project! And there were 20 in the box for only £3.00! Bargain!
I used our Clear Tiny Treat boxes decorated with the How Sweet It Is papers.
The eggs fitted perfectly into the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes. I then made the label for the front using the Layering Circles dies and the 1 1/2" Circle Punch. The sentiment was stamped with the "HAPPY" from the Well Said stamp set. "Easter" was spelled out with individual letters from the Make a Difference stamp set.
I then added a couple of flowers punched out with the Bitty Blooms punch pack.
Lastly, I tied a length of our Daffodil delight Double Stitched ribbon round the box and I was done. A perfect little Easter gift!
Hope you like my project and also hope that you'll continue clicking on the links below to see all the other fabulous projects. I'll be back tomorrow to share my video tutorial so please come back for that - and also include a linked product list if you want to see everything I used.
