It was my daughter's 26th birthday last week and our present to her was a sewing machine. So I set about thinking about making her an appropriate birthday card. At On Stage in April we were given a Make n Take pack using the It Starts With Art bundle.
We were given a Coastal Cabana card blank, a piece of Whisper White card to stamp the Ribbon Reel image on and a small piece of the coordinating patterned paper. This is the card we were meant to make:
I used the reverse of the patterned paper and arranged the card to show off more of it. I coloured the image with blends and used the "Happy Birthday" greeting from the "Piece of Cake" set.

I decided to use the pack to make a different card and here is the result:

Would you believe that I forgot to take the card with me when I saw my daughter on her birthday - so she received it late - I hope she liked it. At least we spent the day together. We found a fabulous fabric shop and haberdashery in Brighton and spent a lovely couple of the hours choosing fabrics, patterns and all the bits and pieces she needed to start her sewing hobby. I look forward to seeing what she makes first!
