Inspireink August Blog Hop - Birthdays!

Hi there everyone,

Welcome to our August Blog Hop and this month the theme is "Birhdays". I love this theme - I make more birthday cards than any others.

For my card I decided to use the Celebrate with Cake stamp set from our Beginner Brochure but to do a more stepped up version. 

 

I used one of the new In Colors - Rococo Rose. And used the sponge dauber method to get the two tone effect on the flowers.

I did a little bit of fussy cutting around the flower heads to add a bit of dimension.

Hope you like my card - this stamp set has so many possibilities. I'll definitely be back with more samples using it soon.
