Simple Christmas tree card in silver, white and grey
Hi everyone,
Yesterday I showed you this Christmas card in my new favourite colour combination.
But before I made that card I made a more monochrome one, using Whisper White, Smoky Slate and Silver.
Still not sure what I think about this card - I feel I should love it but something about it doesn't quite work for me. What do you think? I haven't embossed the Smoky Slate panel which I think would have helped.
Anyway, this is another card to add to this year's stash. Here are both cards together so that you can compare.
And if you missed yesterday's video tutorial you can catch up HERE or by clicking on the image below.
Do pop back again soon to see what I've been up to.

Hi Jill, as a newbie I don't feel qualified to comment but as you've asked, here is my four pennyworth :-) I love the simplicity of the grey and white card but agree with you that the embossing makes a great deal of difference. I wonder what it would have looked like by adding 3 small diamante horizontally in the top left hand corner and bottom right hand corner, than 3 vertically from the top right hand side and vertically at the bottom left hand corner? Kind regards, Joan
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment Joan. Being new at this in no way excludes you from being qualified to comment! Adding rhinestones is a great idea - will try it!! x
