Hi there everyone,
Sorry I'm a bit late posting today and am without a new project for you. I am only just back at home after a week spent in Norfolk (about 170 miles away from me!) caring for my parents who are both in fairly advanced stages of dementia. A very stressful week and boy, did I need to get back in my craft room when I returned for some paper-crafting therapy.
They live right on the coast and whilst there I did manage to make a quick visit to the beach to let the sea calm my soul - it always works. They have a very beautiful wide sandy beach which is never busy, even in the summer months. And at the end of October it was deserted. Not sure that it shows on the photos but it was a windy, although sunny day and the waves were really crashing - I love that.
It looks very likely that I will need to go back soon and make quite frequent visits for the foreseeable future and because of that I was trying to think of what crafting I could take with me on my next visit. And then of course I realised that once again, Stampin' Up! make it easy for us in the form of their kits. These make it so easy to take crafting on the road - more or less everything you need is included - just add some glue and scissors, and maybe for some, a stamp set and ink pad and then you are set. So I will be stocking up with some of these kits so that I can still get my paper-crafting fix whilst away from home. All the kits I am featuring today are available in our main Annual catalogue on pages 200-203. Or just click on the links below to see them in more detail in my online shop.
Firstly we have the All-Inclusive Looking Up Card Kit
Here is a quick video from Stampin Up showcasing this kit:
Next is the Notes of Kindness Card Kit - again a lovely all inclusive kit.
And then there is my all time favourite kit, which I have featured here on my blog several times - the all-inclusive Lots of Happy card kit
Want to see more? Here is a video showing the kit from Stampin' Up!
And there are other tutorials on my YouTube channel. I have added one below, but you can find others by searching my channel.
And then there are the kits that are not all inclusive, but which will need the addition of a stamp set and stamp pad/s to complete them. Of these, my favourite is For the Love of Felt card kit.
Have a quick watch of this short video from Stampin Up featuring this kit.
It has really cheered me up to think that I can so easily grab a kit to take with me when I go to Norfolk and carry on with my card making until I can get back in my studio!
