Clean and Simple card with Christmas Layers

Hi everyone,

I have been playing with the Christmas Layers die set again. As you know, my preferred style is always Clean and Simple. But I do wonder if I have gone too extreme with this card!

I can't help it though - I love it!

As I wasn't sure about it I made another version, with a stamped background.

What do you think? Silver snowflakes or not?

Christmas Layers Stampin' Up!

As I said in the video, I stamped the snowflakes (from the Snowman Season stamp set) with the Delicata Silver stamp pad which unfortunately is no longer available. But as I also said, they could either be stamped in a different colour (maybe Smoky Slate) or they could be heat embossed in silver.

And if you'd like to see how I made this simple little card you can watch my tutorial by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

I'll be back tomorrow with another card using the Christmas Layers die set - I really can't get enough of it!

  1. Hi Jill, when I saw your first plain card, I absolutely loved it but then when you showed the second one with the silver snowflakes around the edge, I thought wow'! so the answer is, although I love them both, the second one is my favourite!

  2. Thanks Joan. I do love the first one too, but even for me it is maybe a bit too "clean and simple".
