Hi everyone,
Well here I am, back in the swing and with a new project for you today. I decided to give myself a couple of hours of stress free crafting on Saturday afternoon and just as I sat down to start, an email about the Freshly Made Sketches #409 challenge popped up. So I decided to enter. Here is the sketch:
I had had a bit of an idea sloshing about in my brain for a while and as it fitted in with this sketch I decided to go with it.
My card was inspired by a swap I received a good while ago. Sadly I cannot now remember who gave it to me, but many thanks to that fellow crafter.
My card uses the Dashing Deer stamp set (page 71 of the Annual catalogue) and the coordinating Detailed Deer dies (page 192 of the Annual catalogue) - I used these products a lot last year but this is their first outing this year.
These stamps and dies have so much potential and versatility. I'll be back sometime soon with a video to show you how I made my card but I needed to get this posted as the Freshly Made Sketch challenge ends this morning! Do pop back to see the video - you could subscribe by email to make sure you never miss another post from me - see the right hand column on this page.
Back tomorrow,
What a sweet Christmas card! I just love those deer! Love the little gold leaves peeking out too! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
