Origami card case with matching cards

Hi everyone,

Way back in September we had several "Make n Take" projects to complete and I've already shared a couple with you. Today I have some photos for you of another one of our projects. This one is a case for a set of cards which is made by just folding a piece of 12" x 12" paper - no glue needed. And I need to give a shout out to Karen Varley of Donemark Papercrafts whose idea this was. You find Karen's blog by CLICKING HERE.

This is the inside of the case with no cards in it.

As you can see we used the Bird Ballad papers and followed the theme through on the cards in the case - using the Free As A Bird stamp set.

Here are the cards in the set. We used Stampin' Up Note Cards and envelopes as the basis for these cards.

I was hoping to be bringing you a video to show how to make this case and card set but unfortunately I was called away from home to look after my parents so I'm afraid you will have to wait!

But wouldn't this card set make a gorgeous Christmas gift for someone?  Nothing like a handmade gift that is also useful. And who wouldn't like to receive this?

I have made another version of this using Magnolia Lane paper and some coordinating cards which I will bring you in a couple of days.

Til then, have a great day,
