Hi everyone,
Sorry, a bit late today. Trying to get myself into a new routine for the foreseeable future to cope with self isolating from the Corona Virus (and failing miserably at the moment)!
Any way as promised yesterday I am bringing you the Easter box I made in the video tutorial. Very similar to this one which was the original.
And here is the one I made on the video. We could play spot the difference!
If you can see, on the second one the dies do not fit as flush as on the first one - I think I messed up the measurements! So I'll give you the corrected measurements below - I hope they work.
And here is that pretty handle again. I love that die!
So here are the measurements to make the box as shown in the first photo (I hope!). I was only a couple of millimetres out but it made a difference. If you try it and it is still not right please let me know. Sorry, but I am only working in Metric for this one.
Measurements
Card stock - 20cm x 10.4cm - Score on the long side at 4.6cm, 9.2cm, 13.8cm, 18.4cm
Score on short side at 4.8cm and 9.4cm
Then burnish all score lines and remove unwanted sections as shown on the videos.
Just in case you missed it here is the link to the video tutorial. CLICK HERE or on the image below.
Hope you like my basket and that it has offered a short distraction from all the current troubles. Do take care and keep safe. We can and we will get through this!
All the products I have used to make this project are available from my online shop. Simply click "Shop Now" button on the top of this page or click any of the images below to go direct to that item in my online Stampin’ Up! shop. If you order from my online shop please use my monthly shopping code (below) to receive a free thank you gift from me as I really appreciate your business. (If your order is £150 or more then please do not use my code as you will earn Stampin' Rewards in your own right and can choose your own freebies!)
Would you please post the measurements for the larger basket? I ordered these dues just to make your baskets! Thank you!
