Sending Flowers card

Hi everyone,

How are you all doing? Keeping busy and staying safe I hope!

Today's project uses the Sending Flowers dies. These are part of the Coordination Product Release that will only be available until March 31st. So I thought it was about time I started using them!

Stampin Up Sending Flowers dies card

My card was heavily inspired by one I saw on Pinterest by Michele Taylor, an Australian demo. Her blog is called Taylor Made Designs.

It is a very simple little card. I just die cut the big circular die in Whisper White and mounted it onto a panel of gingham patterned paper.

This card will soon be winging its way to my mum. All this virus nonsense means that I can't visit her at the moment and this sentiment has never been more true!

I think I forgot to show you the inside of the card on the video so here it is.

Would you like to see how to make it? Watch my video tutorial by CLICKING HERE or on the image below:

You will have a bit of a laugh watching the video. I cut the designer series paper to the wrong size and had to do some quick adjusting to make it work! As I always say, with my videos you get all my mistakes etc - the unedited version!

So here are the measurements you'll need to make it (properly!):

METRIC
Card blank: 14cm square (28cm x 14cm, scored at 14cm)
Designer Series Paper: 13.5cm square
Die cut panel: 12 cm square
Measure 1.8cm from the edge of the circle on all 4 sides
IMPERIAL
Card blank: 5 1/2" square (11" x 5 1/2", scored at 5 1/2")
Designer Series Paper: 5 1/4" square
Die cut panel: 4 3/4" square
Measure 3/4"  from the edge of the circle on all 4 sides

Hope you like today's card. Once again, I forgot to take the photos of the card I made on the video so I'll have to share it another day.  I'll be back soon!

Meanwhile please stay strong and keep safe,
