Hi everyone,
I hope you are having a good day? Here in the UK some further relaxations of the lockdown rules have just been announced so maybe
there is a tiny light at the end of the tunnel! They won't apply to me sadly as I am in the "vulnerable" category, with an underlying health condition but it is good news for those who can take advantage of them. I am very happy for them whilst also being just a tiny bit jealous!
Anyway onto today's post. As you might be aware (I did mention it once or twice!) I recently celebrated my birthday. I was very lucky to receive some lovely cards and thought I would show you a few of them. First of all, a couple from my Stampin' Up! chums. This first one is from Linda Worth, of LiloCrafts. Linda used the Lovely is the Day set for this really pretty card. Thanks Linda!
Next up is another beautiful card from Laurie Jennings, of Paperjay Crafts. Laurie used the Floral Essence stamp set to make this pretty card - I love it!
And then, just to remind you all that there is a crafting world outside of Stampin' Up! (yes, there really is!) a couple of cards from other card making friends. First up my good friend Diana, who is an expert needlewoman and has used her sewing skills very cleverly to make this card.
And a card from another good friend Lesley. Lesley's style is very clean and simple - very similar to mine. Although the patterned paper she has used on this card really makes my eyes go strange! Lesley has also used a bit of sewing on her card - can you spot it?
And lastly for today, the card I received from my husband. I have to feel sorry for him when it comes to buying me cards. He knows only too well that a "normal" card will not cut it! So quite often he resorts to searching online for more unusual cards. And this is the one he chose this time - a beautiful embroidered little card - I really love it! I wish I could sew likw that!
So I am feeling very lucky! Of course I received a lot of other cards too, plus presents, flowers and two birthday cakes! A fab time even in these days of lockdown!
Back with more crafting tomorrow. Please pop back and see me then,
