InspireInk May blog hop - Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the monthly InspireInk blog hop for May - and for this month we have a sketch challenge.

I love this sketch and couldn't wait to get started, although I rotated it 90 degrees. I used the Positive Thoughts stamp set to make my card. I haven't played with this set much before and decided that the feathers would be an appropriate partner for that sentiment which is so apt for current times.

After much deliberation about which colour to use, I stamped the feathers in Crumb Cake.

I layered some of our Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon on the Crumb Cake strip behind the squares.

And I left lots of white space which always makes me happy. And of course, just a little bit of stamping inside!

Hope you like my project - I'd love it if you could leave a comment to let me know what you think. And don't forget to keep hopping around the other blogs. There are some amazing versions of this sketch for you to enjoy. Just click on the blue box below to see all the entries. Enjoy!

  1. Great card Jill. I hadn't thought of layering that ribbon over coloured card, it's really effective.
