The Right Triangle for Colour Combo blog hop - July 2020

Hi everyone,

Busy weekend for me! Three blog hops! Today it is the Colour Combo blog hop and our colours for this month are Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight and Sahara Sand. I hope you have been enjoying hopping around all the blogs and seeing all the amazing projects. You should have hopped here after visiting Jo Blackman.

I decided to use a set from the new Annual Catalogue for my card - the bundle of stamp set and dies called The Right Triangle.

For my card I just used the border die at the bottom of the photo above. This die cuts out all those little triangles and leaves the negative. For my card I inset all the little triangles back into the holes, using the colours for this month.

The butterflies are cut using dies from the Butterfly Beauty dies.

And the sentiment is from the Ornate Thanks stamp set.

Hope you like my card. Pop back later this week to see my video tutorial showing you how to make it!

But before then, do make sure you carry on hopping around our blog hop - you don't want to miss any of the fabulous projects.

Next up is Elisabeth Pirolt

  6. I really like the simple layout. This was a beautiful way to showcase the colors.

Thank-you also for the explanation of the dies and how you used them (I do like inlay). I'd just about decided to not get this set but am now re-thinking.
