Colour Combo August blog hop - with Positive Thoughts

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the Colour Combo blog hop for August. Hopefully you have just arrived here after visiting Sigrid Joch.

I must admit that some of these colour combinations are really challenging me, this month included! The combination of Rich Razzleberry (love it!), Mint Macaron (not keen!) and Soft Suede (one of my least used colours!) had me really scratching my head. In the end I decided to go with a stamp set (Positive Thoughts) with coordinating dies (Nature's Thoughts) to make my card.

Not really my style of card at all but sometimes it does us good to stretch our comfort zone. And I do love all the elements in this bundle. I particularly love that rectangular matt with that pretty pierced pattern all the way round.

I kept the use of Soft Sueded to a minimum - just can't make myself like that colour! 

My sentiment - "a little note" - is from the Butterfly Gala set. I like to have quite a few "just because" cards in my stash to send out to anyone who might be in need of cheering up, especially in the current times.
