Hi everyone,
First of all, many apologies today for the lateness of this post. Normally I post my Card Making for Beginners post every Tuesday but this week I had a big order from my Etsy shop to fulfil and everything got sidelined until it was done!
However I am here now and today we are going right back to basics. As I say on the video I've had two customers now who are finding it tricky to cut card stock to the right sizes using our Stampin' Up! trimmer.
So I thought the easiest way to show how to do this was in a video which is what I am bringing you today. You can watch by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.
I think one of the problems people may be having with the trimmer is that there are several different places where the measurements appear. The ruler at the top which goes to the left from the cutting groove. The ruler has both metric (cm) and Imperial (inches) measurements so you can use the one you prefer. Of course, maybe one of the other confusing things is that when cutting, your card stock will be covering up part of the ruler.
After recording the video I realised that at one point the ruler I was referring to was off camera - so sorry. It was the horizontal ruler half way down the trimmer that I was referring to.
In this photo below the card is being cut at the 10cm mark. So the piece of card, when cut, will measure 10cm across.
In this next photo, the card is positioned to be cut at 3 inches.
I really hope that helps some of you. Please let me know!
