Hi everyone,
Did you know that yesterday was "World Card Making Day"? Yes - there really is such a thing! To celebrate, my friend Gez and I did a couple of sessions of "live crafting" over on our new Facebook group - "Come Crafting With Jill & Gez". If you'd like to join our group to see any future live crafting sessions you can do so HERE.
We did two sessions, one with me crafting and the other with Gez and I have included links to both below so that you can watch them at your leisure. Doing the joint Facebook Lives was a very steep learning curve for both of us and there are a few glitches to work out for next time but we have learned a lot and hopefully will improve!
For my contribution, I used the Snowman Season stamp set and the coordinating Snowman Builder punch to make my two cards. These products were carried over into the Annual Catalogue from last year.
Here are the cards I made on camera:
And here are the ones I made in preparation (ones I made earlier in true Blue Peter style!)
I bought this set last year but really didn't use it enough. I really enjoyed getting it out and inking it up!
Gez used the Perfectly Plaid stamp set and matching punch for her cards. She did a set of 5 cards - a sort of mini one sheet wonder. Here are her cards.
Would you like to watch the playback of the "live" sessions? I'm sorry that the first half of the first video has a little bit of a problem with the sound so apologies for that. We sorted it out for the second half of the video. But you can watch it by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.
And to watch the second of our "live crafting" videos, where Gez does the crafting, just CLICK HERE or on the image below:
I hope you enjoy those. Apologies again about the initial sound quality - we do sort it out later in the video!
Back soon with more inspiration. Have a great day,
All the products I have used to make this project are available from my online shop.
