Hello everyone,
Hope you are OK today. Welcome to another instalment in my Card Making for beginners series. Sometimes these posts are more informational, for example, about things like tools you might need. And sometimes they are super easy projects, suitable for anyone who is just starting out on their exciting paper crafting journey. And that's what I have for you today. I have used the lovely Basket of Blooms set to show you how to make these pretty cards. I CASEd these from some samples in the Annual catalogue - take a look at page 48 to see.
These cards are really easy to make but they do introduce products and techniques that are new to this series. Although we have done a bit of masking previously, this time we have stepped it up a bit and are fussy cutting the pot from a Post It note and using it as a mask.
I have also introduced some colouring with Stampin' Up! Blends. Oh, and I think this is the first time in this series that I have used a punch - one of my all time favourite punches - the Small Bloom.
