#20 Card Making for Beginners - #simplestamping with Snowflake Wishes

Hi everyone and welcome to Week 20 of my Card Making for Beginners series. Today I have some simple Christmas cards for you using the lovely Snowflakes Wishes stamp set.

This stamp set is so, so pretty. I resisted buying it initially as I have bought so many snowflake sets over the years. But in the end I gave in and popped it into my basket and I am so glad I did.

These cards use some of the techniques we have already covered in this series - stamping off and layering - but each card requires minimal supplies - just three colours of cardstock and three colours of ink.

As you can see I have gone for a long slim card once again. They measure 7.5 cm x 21 cm. As I said in the video I found a whole heap of suitable envelopes in my craft room and am happy to sell some of them. I have them in silver, gold and pearl white and will happily send a pack of 10 anywhere in the UK for only £2.50 including postage. If you are further afield, ask me for postage costs. Just drop me an email at jilldchapman@gmail.com.

This set has so much potential it is really worth considering adding it to your collection. If you'd like to see how I made today's cards you can watch my video tutorial by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

Hope you've liked today's cards and that you might give them a go. I'll be back next Tuesday with another episode in the series - please join me then,

  1. These look really nice. I usually make our Christmas cards and I just didn't quite care for what I thought I'd come up with. So I'm going to try something different. Anyways..I would love to learn some tips and tricks on stamping. I'm not very good at it. For awhile there were some classes in the basement where I work but it was always when I was working so I couldn't attend. I haven't seen any since the pandemic stuff and I'm more of a hands on person. I can't always just watch something online and catch on. Anyways..I thought they were pretty..
