Hi everyone,
Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for joining me.
A couple of weeks ago my 25 year old son finally moved out of the parental home into a flat of his own with his girlfriend. As is usually for me, I left it right until the last minute to make them a "New Home" card. And then when I checked out my vast array of stamp sets and dies, I found that I didn't have any appropriate images or sentiments for this card. So I had to think outside the box. As you might know, clean and simple is my signature style and the card I came up with takes that style to extremes!!
I mounted the letters on dimensionals to give a bit of depth. Afterwards I realised I could have used our foam sheets!
I'm very happy to report that Joe and Nicole loved the card and it was very proudly on display when we went to visit a week after they moved. And it was then that I heard my son utter words I never thought I would hear him say: "I have just finished hoovering"!!
I haven't made a video for this card as it is quite straight forward, but will happily do so if I get any requests. And I am very happy to send the the document I made for the printing so you can make your own card. Just email me at jilldchapman@gmail.com.
And that is it from me today.
Back tomorrow,
