#26 Card Making for Beginners - easy folded treat pouch

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Here we are at post number 26 in my Card Making for Beginners series.
And just to spice things up a little, for the last post of 2020 we are not making a card. Instead today's project is a super easy little treat pouch which makes a great last minute Christmas make. I have made many different versions of these over the years and here is this year's version.

The pouch is made from a 6" x 6" sheet - just 4 fold and it is done. You can watch the video below to see exactly how to make it. Just CLICK HERE or on the image below:

Depending on the paper you use, these can be made for all sorts of occasions. Your paper needs to be double sided as both sides will be on view. Of course I made mine for Christmas and used the the lovely Snowflake Splendor papers.

I used several different blues to make my pouches - Pacific Point, Pool Party, Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue.

After folding I punched out two circles with our 2" and 2 1/4" punches - the larger one from the blue that coordinated best with the paper and one from Whisper White. I stamped one of the snowflakes from Snowflake Wishes on the Whisper White circle in coordinating ink.

These little treat pouches were the handmade gifts I sent to all my November customers. They also, of course, received a handmade card and if they used my Monthly Shopping Code - a free product gift - which this time was a Wink of Stella to add a little bit of sparkle to projects.

And that is it for today. Hope you like these little pouches.

Bye for now, back soon,
