Hi everyone,
Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. And welcome to number 28 in my Card Making for Beginners series. And today we are really going back to basics with some simple stamping. For this card you will need just a stamp set, three colours of ink pad, plus black, some white card stock and a coloured card base.
This card uses a new set from the Spring/Summer mini catalogue which is out today (Let me know if you need a copy!) It is called Pretty Perennials and so far, is definitely my favourite from this catalogue.
I used Seaside Spray, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz for my card. It illustrates perfectly how fab Stampin' Up! products are for coordination. The ink exactly matches the coloured card stock. If only I'd known about Stampin' Up! when I first started out card making, I would have saved a bucket load of money buying a load of stuff that did not go together!
On the video I try making the card in a different colourway - Rococo Rose.
Of course, I had to add a little bit of decoration inside too - and you could also easily do a bit of the same stamping on the envelope - how special would that be?
Hope you have enjoyed seeing that project. As I said, I love this set. You can expect to see many, many more samples made with it in the days and weeks to come!
Bye for now, back soon,
