#29 Card Making for Beginners - Pretty Perennials in pastel shades

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me and welcome to the next instalment in my Card Making for Beginners series. Once again today I am using the Pretty Perennials stamp set. So many possibilities with this stamp set and it is a perfect one to choose if you are a beginner. For my card today I decided to tone it down a bit colourwise and use some more subtle colours - Pool Party, Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight, with Pear Pizzazz for the leaves.

An important element of this card is to make sure that the sentiment is well centred and in the video below I show you how to do that.

I think this card is so pretty in the more pastel colours. Of course, I had to do a little bit of stamping inside too.

And this is the card I made on the video - using similar colours but swapping them around a bit. If you'd like to know why this card has the extra die cut flower, you will need to watch the video.

All I will say about that, is that never has this quote, made for me by one of my lovely team members, been so appropriate.

And this quote popped up as I was writing this blog post too - what a coincidence!

I do hope you'll watch the video and see some problem solving in action!! Watch the video by CLICKING HERE or on the image below:
