Welcome to my blog today and welcome also to to the first Ink Stamp Share monthly blog hop of the year 2021. Today our challenge was to use products from the new Stampin' Up! Spring/Summer Mini catalogue and/or the Saleabration promotion catalogue.
In the new mini catalogue, there are some gorgeous packs of patterned papers (DSP) and one of my favourites is the Hydrangea Hill pack - such pretty colours of lilac and blue in this pack. For my project I decided to use just a little bit of one of the sheets as the main feature.
I have made a video tutorial if you would like to watch how I put my card together. You can watch it by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.
You will see on the video that the stamping didn't go quite to plan and when I came off camera I decided I needed to do something about it. Another occasion to bring my favourite mantra to bear:
So I decided to re-stamp the sentiment and punch it out to cover up my mistake!
I used the Tailored Tag and cut an extra label from Highland Heather
which I cut in half horizontally to make the border.
I hope you like my card today. There are so many other fabulous projects for you to see on the hop. Rochelle Laird-Smith is next up.
Just in case you get lost mid hop, here is the complete roll call of everyone taking part today. Why not make a cuppa and settle down to be inspired by all these talented people?
