Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog today and welcome too to the first Pootler's Blog Hop of the year. Our theme for this one is "Saleabration" - we are all using products which have earned for FREE by placing orders of £45+. I hope you've been enjoying hopping around some of the other links before you arrived here.
For my project, I have used one of my favourite sets from the promotion - A Touch of Ink. Because this set is a double stamp set, you will need to spend £90+ to earn it for free but it is so worth it!
These pretty outline images with watercolour effect fill ins are great - although I haven't used a fill in today. . You may have caught my previous posts where I used the flower sprig and I did. Today I am using the butterfly and an alternative way to colour it.
My card was inspired by a sample in the Saleabration brochure - take a look at page pg 13.
I coloured my butterfly with Watercolor Pencils from both of the sets - Gorgeous Grape, Pacific Point and Melon Mambo. And then I used one of our Blender Pens to blend the colours together.
The black and white polka dot paper is from a pack of designer paper in the Spring mini catalogue called True Love - isn't it lovely?
I added just a strip of the patterned paper inside the card.
Hope you like it. Will be back soon with a video tutorial - don't miss it (you can sign up for email notifications every time I post on the right!)
Meanwhile, please do keep hopping around all the other blogs. Just click on the blue box below - some amazing projects to see - you don't want to miss any!
