#34 Card Making for Beginners - Attaching the Stickers to Cling Stamps

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me and for joining me for the next instalment in my Card Making for Beginners series. Just recently I have been asked two or three times about how to attach the stickers to our red rubber which made me realise that I really should make a video to show how I do it. So that is the subject of today's video.

I have tried to capture each stage on the photos below but it is much easier to just watch me go through the process on the video which you can watch by CLICKING HERE or on the image below:

To add your stickers to your stamps, the first step is to remove the stamps from the "frame". They should remove quite easily - they are held in place by small tabs which will break quite easily.

Each of the stamps will have a backing on them which needs to be removed.

The stamps then have a smooth grey surface. As I explain in the video, often I do not bother to add the stickers to my stamps - they cling very well without them!

However, if you do want to add the stickers, the first thing to do is remove the covering from the sticker for the stamp you are dealing with.

Then carefully position the stamp onto the sticker, red rubber side up, using the outline to help line it up. Then remove from the sheet and the sticker should be attached.

Here is my complete stamp set, with the stickers attached.

I hope that has helped. It sounds a bit tricky but actually quite easy to do if you follow the steps carefully. Let me know how you get on!

Bye for now, back soon,
