Hi everyone,
Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. On Saturday, Gez and I went live in our Facebook group - Come Crafting with Jill and Gez - where a lot of you joined us for some chat, laughter, fun and, oh yes, a bit of live crafting! Today I am bringing you details of the projects we made and the recordings of the live videos, in case you missed it and wanted to take a look.
We called this session "Hearts and Flowers" and I was the "hearts" bit. I made these two clean and simple Valentine cards.
I used the little striped heart from the Meant to Be stamp set (page 69 of the Annual Catalogue) and the coordinating die from the Stitched Be Mine dies (page 182).
What do you think about this non traditional colourway? I needed a non-romantic card to send to my son so went with these shades of turquoise. But I did initially make them in a more traditional shades of red colourway:
This very simple layout can be adapted to other themes too - how about replacing the hearts with flowers? I show some samples of these on the video and will post them here on my website soon.

Gez did the "flowers" bit of our session. She made a very pretty gift box using some floral patterned paper. For UK followers, the box is exactly the right size for a 250ml bottle of Body Shop Shower Gel, Body Lotion etc.

Hope you've enjoyed seeing those projects. We'd love you to join us for our next live session on March 6th at 2pm!
