Ink Stamp Share February Showcase Blog Hop

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. And welcome too, to the Ink Stamp Share Showcase Blog Hop for February. This is such a fun blog hop to take part in as there is no theme - we just get to showcase any project we have recently been working on. And my project today is very appropriate for mid February as it is a (another!) Valentine's Day card.

I have returned to my signature clean and simple style for this card and it makes me very happy! And it is also a rainbow, which makes me even happier!

The little heart I have used is from the Arrange a Wreath stamp set, die cut with a die from the Wreath Builders dies. I stamped in Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point and Gorgeous Grape. 

I think the sentiment, from Oval Occasions, is great as it means this card doesn't have to be sent to a significant other, but could also just go to a friend etc. In fact, it doesn't really need to be a Valentine's card - could be a "just because" card, just to send love to someone who needs a little lift.

I added some subtle details to my card to make it just a little bit more visually interesting. The hearts were mounted on a separate strip of card and I then added two embossed lines either side of it. Quite difficult to capture on a photo but I think you can see better in the photo below.
