The Project Share February Blog Hop - Black and White

Good morning and happy Saturday everyone,

Welcome to my blog for my second post today (and my second blog hop of the day!). This is the Project Share blog hop featuring myself and the three other talented ladies who take part in our Project Share every Thursday. We publish our blog hop on the first Saturday of each month and today, for February, the theme is Black and White. Luckily, we have a pack of gorgeous black and white patterned papers in the new mini catalogue, called "True Love", which I used for my card.

After cutting a strip of the diagonal striped paper and adhering it to the centre of my card, I fussy cut the flowers from one of the other sheets and stuck them to a square os Basic Black card. I must admit I was dying to add a little bit of colour to the flowers but as this is a "black and white" theme, I resisted.

The sentiment is, once again, from the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set. And I fussy cut another of the flowers to add to the inside of the card.

For all the fussy cutting you do need a really good pair of sharp scissors so I have included a link to our "Snips" below in the product list, as they are perfect!

I hope you like my card. Please keep hopping around by clicking the NEXT link below. The lovely Heather is next - you don't want to miss her fabulous project!

Bye for now, back soon with a video tutorial to show how I made my card - do pop back to see that. You can sign up to receive email notifications every time I post on the right of this page.
