Fancy Fold Stepped Easel Card Video Tutorial

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am bringing you the video tutorial of the fancy fold card I brought you the other day. And of course I made it in different colours on the video. This time it is a return to form for me - back to Brights! And how bright is this?

I know that Magenta Madness is a bit of a Marmite colour - either love it or hate it. So there'll probably be a fair few of you who are not keen on this but I love it.

I added Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green to the Magenta Madness.

I made this card into a Get Well card to add to my stash - I'm sure these colours would cheer anyone up who is feeling under the weather. The greeting is again from the Timeless Tulips stamp set.

Here are both cards together. I know I made the right choice of colours with the Mother's Day card - the pastels are much more my mum's thing!

And now, what you've all been waiting for. If you'd like to see the video tutorial you can watch by CLICKING HERE or on the image below.

And if you need them, here are the measurements:

Card Blank - 11ins x 5.5ins:
Cut at one inch from each side from 4.4ins to 10ins
Score the two side panels (not the centre panel) at 4.5ins, 9ins and 10ins.
Score the centre panel at 5.5ins
Patterned paper panels:
2 x 4.5ins x 3/4ins for the sides
3 1/4ins x 4 1/4ins for the centre panel
5 1/4ins x 3/4ins for the bottom panel

Hope you enjoy this project.

  1. Evening Jill. Love when Demonstrators do not edit their videos to crop out mistakes as this is how beginner stampers like me (and even advanced stampers) learn how to cope with oopsies. Blessings: Mal, Melbourne, Australia
