Little bit of a different post from me today. In the last couple of weeks I've had a couple of questions about my Monthly Shopping Code so I thought I would take this chance to explain a little bit about how it works and why you should definitely add it to your order when shopping online with me.
What is my Monthly Shopping Code?
I love to reward my customers for shopping with me and let them know how much I really appreciate their orders. After all, this is what allows me to keep generating an income from doing something that I absolutely love. I already send every online customer a personal handmade card and a small treat (packaged or decorated prettily) to show how much I appreciate them! But my Monthly Shopping Code means that they can get even more rewards from me.
My Monthly Shopping Code adds up everyone’s orders each month and the order total earns Stampin’ Rewards. The rewards accumulate, based on how many orders are placed and the total amount of the orders. At the end of the month, I close off the Monthly Shopping Code, see how many Stampin Rewards have been earned, divide that amount by the number of customers who have used the code and then choose which product I will send to everyone that month. I order the products, wait for that order to arrive and then send out the packages to customers towards the middle of the following month. So if you order in March and you can expect your order from Stampin’ Up! direct to you within the normal timescales and then around the middle of April, you will receive yet another package from me! It’s super simple and I cover the cost of shipping the thank you package to you.
So....the more customers who use the code = the more rewards will accumulate!
How can you use the Monthly Shopping code?
Each month, I will let you know the code for the month – there is a new code published on the first day of every month (unless I forget!) for anyone shopping in my Online Shop. It is displayed on the right hand side of my blog (scroll down nearly to the bottom) and also at the bottom of every blog post. When you have your order ready, you will click through to shop in my Online Shop – you will know you are in the correct place because you will see my name in the top left corner of your screen. Once you have added everything you want to buy to your shopping basket, and before you click through to the checkout page, you need enter the current Monthly Shopping Code code into the box labelled HOST CODE at the bottom left side of the ‘Shopping Bag’ page and then you can check out.
So, in simple terms, here is what you need to do…
- Go to my Online Shop
- Create an account if you don’t have one.
- Shop until you drop! – Make sure my name (Jill Chapman) is in the top left hand corner as show below.
- When you get to the ‘Shopping Basket’ screen, enter the current code in the box labelled "HOST CODE" - just below the pink CHECKOUT button at the bottom on the right hand side. as shown below and click ‘apply’.
- Continue to the checkout to pay as normal.
- The next page will confirm that you have added the code and that you have chosen me as your demonstrator.
What if my order is £150 or more, should I still enter the code?
- No! If your order is £150 or more, then you qualify to receive your own Stampin’ Rewards and you can choose your free gift(s) PLUS you will also receive an extra gift from me to say thank you!
Guest Checkouts and Selecting No Contact
If you choose to checkout as a guest or click to choose to receive no contact from me, unfortunately, I cannot send you a thank you package or FREE product gift because your contact details are hidden from me.
What if I forget to add the hostess code to my order?
Don’t panic! If you let me know soon after you order, then I may be able to get the code manually added to the order for you. If I have already closed that month’s code (on the last day of the month), then unfortunately it can’t be added.
