Welcome to my blog today. It is once again time for the Stamping Inkspirations blog hop and for this month our theme is Easter and/or Spring. Hopefully you have hopped here from Karen Henderson.
For my project I have made these super simple little treat boxes using the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box die and containing some mini foiled chocolate eggs.
I managed to find some little nets of foiled chocolate eggs in one of our UK supermarkets (Sainsbury's for my UK followers!) and was delighted to see that the colours coordinated exactly with four of our Stampin' Up! colours - Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green.
To start, I die cut the boxes with the die from the four colours of card stock - super easy to do! You will need a piece of card stock measuring 14cm square to make each box. I cut a window in one side of each of the boxes with the oval tag die and then lined it with a small piece of one of our window sheets.
I then cut an oval tag from Basic White and stamped the Happy Easter message with stamps from the "A Wish for Everything" stamp set. The Easter egg is from the Arrange a Wreath stamp set. You could use the die in the coordinating die set to cut it out or just fussy cut it. A little bit of our Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon to tie on the tag and you're done. Oh, but don't forget to pop in some little chocolate eggs!!
I hope you like this project and that you might give it a go. But before you do, please keep on hopping around our hop to get even more inspiration from all the fabulous projects everyone has in store for you.
Next up is Melissa Faust - you won't want to miss her project.
