Live Crafting with Flowers of Friendship - Come Crafting with Jill & Gez

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Yesterday my good friend Gez and I did our regular monthly Live Crafting session over in our facebook group - Come Crafting with Jill & Gez. Do come on over and join us if you'd like to. Our theme for this month was "Anything New" and as we have just had a new catalogue release, there was a lot of choice. I chose to use Flowers of Friendship which is one of my current favourites. I had posted a #simplestamping version of my card earlier that day and decided to take the same image and show how you could use other coordinating products to step it up a bit. 

I think Fresh Freesia is definitely my favourite new In Color - although it is a difficult choice as I love them all! 

I wanted to colour my flower spray with Blends but unfortunately my order containing the new In Color Blends has not arrived yet. But I found that Purple Posy Blends were a very good substitute!

Before the live crafting, I made another version of my card using Polished Pink and once again found I could use alternative colours for the colouring - this time Light Lovely Lipstick (long since retired) and Light Melon Mambo. 

Here are both cards together - now I can't wait to make another one in Pale Papaya!

Of course, as it was a Jill and Gez session, my live crafting was only half the session. Gez used her session to make this amazing calendar using the Days to Remember stamp set.
