#7 Card Making for Beginners - Series 2 - Stamping, Ribbon and a Die Cut

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. As it is Tuesday, it is time for another easy project suitable for new crafters in my Card Making for Beginners Series 2. Today I am showing how it is possible to make a beautiful card using a little bit of stamping, some beautiful patterned paper, one die cut and some lovely ribbon.

For this first card, I used a card blank in Highland Heather and a small piece of Hydrangea Hill DSP. Sadly the Hydrangea DSP is now completely sold out. I used one of my favourite current stamp sets - Biggest Wish - and added a lovely bow with the Gorgeous Grape Sheer ribbon.

The Basic White card was die cut with the lovely stitched, scalloped border die from the Scalloped Contours dies. A few Pastel Pearls and I was done!

On the video, of course, I changed it up a little bit. I used a Polished Pink card blank (so in love with this colour) and DSP from the Pansy Petals pack. So pretty.

My bow this time was tied with the Polished Pink Open Weave ribbon - so easy to tie a lovely bow with this. Although in the video I colour some clear rhinestones with Stampin Blends, I realised afterwards that I could have used the In Color Jewels!
