The Project Share June blog hop - Retiring Favourites

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog today. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today, as it is the first Saturday of the month, it is once again time for the Project Share blog hop. 

For this month, our theme is Retiring Favourites. The January - June mini catalogue will be retiring at the end of this month and many of the products will be discontinued at this point. Last week Stampin' Up! released the list of all these products, and many of the have amazing discounts. Some things have already sold out but pop over to my shop HERE to have a look at what is still available. 

Anyway, onto my project for today. I chose to use the lovely Suite Sampler set. This is the host set in the mini catalogue (page 88) which means it is only available to "buy" with Stampin Rewards, which are earned on any order of over £150. But if you have a long wish list, it is really worth considering placing a big order rather than several small ones to benefit from the Stampin' Rewards. 

I particularly love this hydrangea image from the set. My first card is in Highland Heather. 

And then I made a second version in Polished Pink.

These are the colours of Blends that I used to colour - Highland Heather, Polished Pink, Old Olive.

The image was first stamped on a stitched, scalloped rectangle from the Stitched so Sweetly die set. And in turn this was mounted on a panel of vellum.

Of course, I had to do a little bit of stamping inside!
