#11 Card Making for Beginners Series 2 with Painted Poppies

Hi everyone,

Welcome to my blog and to the next post in my Card Making for Beginners series 2. In this series I try to bring you cards that are super simple to make but still look fabulous. And today's card is no exception. Whilst we were away last week, I was struck by all the wild flowers, particularly poppies which were blooming in hedgerows and fields as we drove down little country lanes. So I decided to dig out the Painted Poppies stamp set - which I have to admit has been severely under used by me - and get it inky. In the end I made three cards - all very similar but with small differences.

This was my first card:

Then I made this one for the video.

And lastly this one.

Poppy Parade is not a colour I use often but for these poppies it was perfect!
