Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today it is once agaon time for the Stampin' Dreams August blog hop and our theme for today is "Step It Up"
So what does "Step It Up" mean? Well we were given a brief and this is the part of it that I chose to go with -
"elevate a #SimpleStamping project".
Whilst mulling over what I should make, I was in the middle of making a set of cards to send out to my team to recognise them for a range of events and achievements. This month we had a birthday, a stampaversary and several sales/spending over 300CSV. I had been itching to use a new Saleabration FREE stamp set - Textures and Frames - so started out with this #simplestamping card.
Only two ink pads, some cardstock and two stamp sets to make this card - and one of those stamp sets could be yours free when you spend £45.
To Step It Up, I decided to use another FREE Saleabration item - the gorgeous Be Dazzling papers. I die cut some stars using the Stitched Stars set and added them on randomly.
It is difficult to capture just how sparkly those stars are on camera - they are so pretty in real life!
With the card, I sent a product gift and a Stampin' Up! pen (in handmade packaging of course!)
So great to be able to celebrate my team for their achievements, birthdays and anniversaries!
I hope you've enjoyed seeing my project today. I'll be back tomorrow with a video to show you how I made my card but meanwhile, don't forget to keep hopping around all the other links below. There are some amazing things for you to see - so much inspiration! Next up is Rachael Merrick.
Bye for now, back soon,

ReplyDeleteGreat card design!
ReplyDeleteJust a note, bloggers # 2 - 5 on the list have broken links, which makes trying to blog hop a little challenging :(
Thanks for the inspiration! I'm always looking for ways to use that stamp set. I love your 3 versions and the purpose for the cards. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNice job. Love the creativity!
ReplyDeleteI love them both, but I always need sparkle on my cards and that Be Dazzling Paper is the best sparkle there is
