Hi everyone,
Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Have you missed me the past couple of days? I have had a few days away on holiday in York with my other half, and although I managed to schedule a few posts before we left, in the end I ran out of time.
But I am here today with another post in my Card Making for Beginners series, to show you how beautiful handmade cards can be made by anyone, really easily and with just a few resources.
As you can see, today's card uses a few techniques I have showed before either in this series or the previous one - namely
#simplestamping, heat embossing and some layering (or matting).
This stamp set - Celebrate with Flowers - really is the set that keeps on giving. It is so versatile with so many different ways the stamped images can be used.
I used one of the small flowers to build up my background in a selection of bright colours - Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink, Mango Melody, Gorgeous Grape and Bermuda Bay.
The sentiment is from the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set although I have cut that stamp up a bit! It can easily be put together again on a clear block if I need to!
I heat embossed the sentiment in gold and then layered it on matts of Bermuda Bay and Polished Pink.
Of course I have made a video tutorial for you - this time I changed the colours and heat embossed in silver.

Hope you enjoyed that. Here are both cards together.
Do join me again next Tuesday for more Card Making for Beginners.
